International 9p Minus Awareness Day

International 9p Minus Awareness Day takes place on September 9th.  The main objective of 9p Minus Awareness Day is to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about 9p Minus and its impact on patients' lives.

The campaign targets primarily the general public and also seeks to raise awareness amongst policy makers, public authorities, industry representatives, researchers, health professionals and anyone who has a genuine interest in 9p Minus.

We encourage families to fundraise as part of the day by asking for donations to the 9p- Network.  Did you know you can set up a non-profit fundraiser for donations to the 9p Minus Network on your own Facebook page?  It's pretty simple and many members have had great success with these Facebook fundraisers. Donations raised go directly to the network. Here's how to set it up:

Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed. You may need to click 'See More'.

Click + Raise Money.

Select Nonprofit or Charity

Select a charitable organization, you can search here for Chromosome 9p- Network 

Click Create.

This is a great day to wear your 9p shirts, these can spark questions from the general public and give a good opportunity spread some info.
